trying to get well
and just not making it
seems like I fail
every chance I get
when getting back on the run
and not getting the ok
is absolutely no fun
and not at all the way
to train for a race
that's coming all too soon
I can't keep the pace
and I feel like it's all ruin
I want to do my best
but this time it's not enough
in this race I'll invest
and hope I'll have the right stuff
