ten years ago today
we were there
as so many were
we were blessed to
get away
through all the blur
realizing what took place
and how to deal
with it all
still rings throughout
our public space
to all who felt the fall
never forget,
always remember
those who lived
and died and gave
and worked and lived
that fateful September
