trying to rhyme

rhyme
in time
is sublime
in the right clime
if you have playtime
to spend in your downtime
it can even become a pastime
for those who work in the meantime
as for me, I will keep at it sometime
knowing it is not an all consuming crime
if I don't do it both daytime and nighttime

is it already time?

is it already time
for another little rhyme?
why did I create this hill to climb?
why didn't I do mime?
there is nothing sublime
about this little pastime
though I may have thought it onetime
to be a way to pass the meantime
as for now I think I will merely chime
to pass on the words that are prime;
I'll continue to use it in my downtime
