I'd never heard of
the political side of Seuss
I knew he drew and
played with words
but I had no idea that
he put those ideals
into furthering an agenda
so when I learned today
of his role in
providing propaganda
to stir up America
and get her involved
in World War II
I had to check out the data
He indeed did post
over 400 comics
and encouraged Americans
to get involved in
ways as individuals
and not to just bury their
head like an ostrich
I find this exhibit
interesting; one that can
inspire many people
still today
and seeing this side
of Seuss only makes
his work more rich
